Bruce George is a visionary, entrepreneur, speaker, author, panelist, executive producer, writer, poet, consultant, and social activist. He has won several awards, such as a “Peabody Award” for “Russell Simmons Presents, Def Poetry (HBO),” a “Miky Award” for “Russell Simmons Presents, Def Poetry Jam (HBO),” an “Upscale Showcase Award,” a “Trail Blazer Award” etc. for his outstanding vision, production, writing, and performance.
Bruce is the Founder of the “Genius is Common” Movement and coiner of the slogan “Genius is Common,” which fosters self-esteem in the youth by them realizing that they each have a creative genius seed in them.
Bruce is the Co-Founder of the critically acclaimed award-winning “Russell Simmons’s Def Poetry Jam.” He’s also the Founder/Managing Editor of “The Bandana Republic, an Anthology of Poetry & Prose by Gang Members & Their Affiliates.” As an activist, Bruce has been and is currently associated with major grassroots organizations that foster and uplift struggling people. Bruce conducts creative writing/performance poetry workshops for colleges/universities/organizations nationally and internationally, and he’s an Executive Consultant for multiple organizations.
Dr. Juanita Bonds
Dr. Juanita Bonds firmly believes that knowledge and education are the keys to success. She is a lifelong learner and, in 2019, completed the Doctoral of Humane Letters, Healthcare Management program through Trinity International University. Dr. Bonds also earned Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science from Southern University and A&M College and Health Service Administration and Gerontology from Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University. She has an impressive background, having graduated from Harvard Executive Business School’s Owner/President Management Program and is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
Dr. Bonds is the President & CEO of Bliant Specialty Hospital, part of the Opulence Hospital Management Group. She has over two decades of executive-level experience in healthcare and is known for her dynamic leadership style. Dr. Bonds has led several healthcare organizations, including St. Charles Specialty Rehabilitation Hospital and Anuschka Healthcare Management Group, LLC. She is a proven industry leader who has initiated and implemented innovative initiatives to revolutionize organizational processes.
Dr. Bonds also own TrueSkin MedEsthetics, LLC, a Medical Spa located in Alpharetta, Georgia. She is well-known for her expertise in skincare and is often referred to as the G.O.A.T. in the industry. Her focus on wellness as the primary source of beautiful skin has made her a respected and innovative executive operations strategist. Dr. Bonds frequently holds workshops, zoom calls, and events to share her knowledge of skincare and wellness and speaking engagements.
Community involvement is a priority for Dr. Bonds, and she founded two non-profits, Diversified Rehabilitation Services (DRS) and the Louisiana Wellness Association. She also serves on several Boards of Directors, including the Asherah Foundation. Dr. Bonds is a trailblazer who has demonstrated a commitment to healthcare and wellness throughout her career.
